Portrait of a Young Man with a Red Beret is a 1485 portrait Italian Renaissance painting by Italian artist Filippino Lippi. This work can be found in the Uffizi in Florence, Italy.
While Filippino Lippi is perhaps best known for his religious paintings and frescoes, he also left behind a notable body of work that includes portraits. This is a simple portrait of an unknown man, subtly dressed in a brown cloak and a red beret. The subject looks directly at the viewed and there is no other notable features to the painting – even the background is black.
