French Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro focused the early stage of his career painting the typical moments of peasant life and the people around him as can be seen in Woman and Child at the Well. Titled Femme et Enfant au Puirs in his native French, it si a great example of this. A woman briefly sits against a well either before or after filling the two watering cans on each side of her.
